📋 How to Apply

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Register on Portal: Go to pmsuryaghar.gov.in and register with your electricity consumer number and Aadhaar. VSOLARIZE will help you with this step for free.
  2. Apply for Rooftop Solar: Select your DISCOM (electricity board) and apply for rooftop solar through an empanelled vendor like VSOLARIZE.
  3. DISCOM Feasibility: Your electricity board does a technical feasibility check. Usually approved within 3–7 working days.
  4. Installation: VSOLARIZE installs ALMM-approved solar panels and a BIS-certified inverter at your home.
  5. Net Meter Application: VSOLARIZE submits net meter application to DISCOM on your behalf.
  6. Commissioning Report: After installation, DISCOM inspects and issues commissioning certificate.
  7. Subsidy Disbursement: Subsidy amount is directly credited to your bank account (DBT) within 30–60 days of commissioning.
